Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women celebrated Traditional Day and Mehendi Competition on 12 March 2026 with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from both students and staff. The entire campus came alive with colors and cultural spirit as everyone arrived dressed in beautiful traditional attire, reflecting the richness and diversity of Indian culture. The event created a festive atmosphere across the college, with students showcasing elegance, creativity, and pride in tradition. As part of the celebration, a Mehendi Competition was organized from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the South Block. The event was formally inaugurated by Dr Ch Sujatha Gangadhar, Chief operating officer–SLV; Dr K. Gracy Sailasri, HR & Academic Director–SLV; Dr G. ShyamaChandra Prasad, Principal; and Mr. G. Dayakar Reddy, Vice Principal. Their presence added significance to the occasion and encouraged students to actively participate in the competition. Students displayed remarkable artistic skills by applying intricate mehendi designs, and many enthusiastically decorated the hands of faculty members . The creativity, enthusiasm, and active involvement of the participants made the competition lively and engaging. Both the Traditional Day celebrations and the Mehendi Competition turned out to be memorable events, strengthening the bond between students and staff and adding joyful moments to campus life. The wholehearted participation of everyone made the events a grand success. The Event was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries: Dr. Sudha Vepa, Secretary, SLV Dr. Ch. Sujatha Gangadhar, Chief Operating Officer, SLV Dr. Gracy Saila Sree, Director–HR & Academics, SLV Dr. G. Shyama Chandra Prasad, Principal, BRECW Mr. G. Dayakar Reddy, Vice Principal, BRECW Heads of Departments (HoDs), Heads of Faculties (HoFs), faculty members, non-teaching staff and students also actively participated, ensuring smooth coordination and management of the event.
