HoF Message

HoF, Departmnt of General Engineering

Mrs V Pushparani, is a pass out from J.J. Engineering College Tiruchirappalli of Batch 1995-99 in Mechanical Engineering.

She completed her M.S in Computational Engineering in the year 2007 from Friedrich Alexander University Germany

After working for few months as PhD scholar, she joined this esteemed institution in the year 2011 as a Assistant Professor.

Presently she is heading the Faculty of Civil & Mechanical Engineering under the name Faculty of General Engineering. She has an experience of 10 years in teaching undergraduate subjects mainly Engineering Graphics, Engineering Mechanics, Environmental Studies and Fluid Mechanics.

She is a Lifetime member of ISTE.

Her areas of interest include Finite Element Analysis of solid Mechanics, Computational of Fluid dynamics and studying various modes of effective teaching for technical students.

HoD Message

Faculty of General Engineering, an amalgamation of Civil and Mechanical Engineering staff welcomes all the students who enter the gates of this institution with a dream to acquire technical education. The faculty of general Engineering is a team of 4 highly motivated faculty members. The team believes in the words: The road to success is always under construction and they are working with the objective

To make the Basic engineering subjects as a strong foundation to their next three years
Creating methods that will make students learn subjects easily. During the transition period from intermediate to engineering
Create an atmosphere for the beginners to feel that all subjects are equally important to grow into a competent engineer
