*** I Year B Tech Freshers Classwork Commencement from 11.08.2026 ***Important information (Click Here)
The Engineering Workshop, located behind the North Block, is a spacious and well-ventilated facility with adequate lighting and a safe learning environment. It provides students with essential hands-on training in basic manufacturing processes, tools, equipment, and their applications.
The workshop comprises dedicated sections for Fitting, Carpentry, Tin Smithy, House Wiring, Welding, Blacksmithy, and Foundry. Through practical activities in these sections, students develop fundamental technical skills, improve their understanding of manufacturing processes, and gain valuable experience in the safe and effective use of workshop tools and equipment.
The workshop plays an important role in bridging theory and practical learning, helping students develop technical competence, precision, problem-solving abilities, and confidence for their future engineering careers.
The Drawing Hall (SB 307), located in the South Block, is a spacious and well-lit facility designed to support effective learning of Engineering Drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). The hall is equipped with suitable drawing tables and essential facilities that enable students to develop their skills in technical drawing, graphical communication, and engineering visualization. It provides a conducive environment for both conventional drawing practices and CAD-based learning, helping students strengthen their design and technical communication skills.
The Advanced Engineering Physics laboratory (SB 210 & SB 211), is introduced by the JNTUH for all branches of I B.Tech Students. It is fully equipped as per the requirement of JNTUH. The course is designed with 10 experiments in R25 regulation. The lab provides hands-on experience in modern physics and engineering applications. The lab helps students understand theoretical concepts through practical experiments and develop experimental, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Engineering Chemistry Lab is introduced by JNTUH for all the branches of engineering I B Tech in the academic year 2009.The lab is fully equipped and it is located in SB III floor Room No. 308-Engineering Chemistry lab-II and 311-Engineering Chemistry lab-I. The objective of the course is that the students will have exposure to various experimental skills which is very essential for an engineering student. The syllabus aims at bridging the concepts and theory of chemistry with examples from field of practical application.
The Computer Assisted Language Lab (Room no. 107 & 110 SB) has 74 systems and one master console, LAN facility with adequate English language software for self-study by students (I & III)
The software provided in the lab is Globarena and K-Van Solutions, English in Mind and Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary are also loaded in the systems.
The College has Interactive Communication Skills (ICS) Labs in spacious rooms (Room No. 108 and G04, SB). Each lab has 4 round tables with 34 chairs arranged around the tables to conduct communication activities and help students (I & III) develop their communication skills The labs are equipped with audio-visual aids, a Public Address System, a collar mic, a cordless mic, a gooseneck mic, a TV, a computer system, an LCD projector, audio and video systems, and a camcorder.
