Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women, in collaboration with the Computer Society of India (CSI), Hyderabad Chapter, organized the CSI AI 100K Workshop along with the CSI Student Branch Chapter (2025–26) Inauguration on 05 December 2025. The AI 100K initiative, recognised as the world’s largest AI readiness programme, aims to train one lakh students in Artificial Intelligence fundamentals and applied skills. He encouraged students to develop strong technical foundations. Chief Guest Address & CSI SBC Inauguration Dr D V Ramana, Secretary, CSI Hyderabad Chapter, was the Chief Guest for the programme. He formally inaugurated the CSI Student Branch Chapter (2025–26) and spoke about CSI’s contribution to student development, professional ethics, and continuous learning. Distinguished Guest Speaker Dr Kalyan Sarvepalli, Senior Digital Transformation Specialist, Infosys, shared insights on global AI adoption and emphasised the need for computational thinking, data-driven decision-making, and adaptability in modern engineering careers. Guest of Honor Mr Yadunandan STVSS, VP – Hexaware Technologies & CTO – OneAutoMax, interacted with students on emerging industry expectations and essential digital skills. He motivated students to stay curious and technologically aware. Keynote Address – AI 100K Programme The keynote session by Mr Sai Bhanu Madhav, Principal Consultant, Infosys, provided an impactful overview of the CSI AI 100K initiative. He explained the programme’s structured learning path, covering Python, data analytics, machine learning fundamentals, and real-world AI applications. Key Highlights AI Readiness: Importance of gaining AI skills early as industries rapidly adopt intelligent systems. Learning Framework: Multi-level curriculum including Python, ML basics, Generative AI, and practical case studies. Student Opportunities: Assignments, quizzes, and hands-on activities curated by industry experts. Career Pathways: Roles such as Data Analyst, AI Engineer, ML Developer, and Automation Specialist. Ethical AI: Emphasis on responsible data use and societal impact. Continuous Learning: Encouragement to participate in CSI events, hackathons, and peer-learning groups. His session inspired students to engage proactively with AI concepts and utilize the AI 100K initiative for career advancement.

Students gained awareness of AI readiness, structured learning paths, and opportunities offered through the CSI AI 100K initiative. The formal inauguration of the CSI Student Branch Chapter (2025–26) paved the way for year-long technical activities. The sessions increased student interest in AI, ML, and digital transformation, while expert interactions enriched their understanding of industry expectations.
The overall feedback was highly positive. Students found the sessions informative and motivating, helping them understand how to begin their AI journey. Faculty appreciated the early exposure given to first-year students, while CSI dignitaries commended the college for its excellent arrangements and smooth coordination.
The workshop on “CSI AI 100K” and the CSI Student Branch Chapter Inauguration successfully introduced first-year engineering students to AI concepts, industry expectations, and professional development opportunities. The event strengthened the collaboration between the institution and CSI Hyderabad Chapter and marked the beginning of a year filled with learning, innovation, and student engagement in emerging technologies.
