Inaugural Session

The inaugural session commenced at 06:00 PM on 16th December 2024, graced by eminent dignitaries:

The Department of Information Technology, Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women, Hyderabad, in collaboration with AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, organized an online Faculty Development Program (FDP) titled “Innovative Approaches to Cyber Security and Digital Forensics: Tools, Techniques and Best Practices” from 16.12.2024 to 21.12.2024.
TheFDP aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of faculty members, researchers, and professionals in the rapidly evolving field of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.
Dr M Sandhya Rani, Coordinator of the FDP, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, participants, and resource persons. In her welcome address, she acknowledged the importance of collaboration between institutions and academicians to address the challenges of security in digital world. She expressed gratitude to AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy for their support in organizing the event and highlighted the unique opportunity for participants to gain insights into the latest developments in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.
The program was formally inaugurated by Director HR & Academics Dr. K. Gracy Saila Sree, Professor & Principal Dr. J. Madhavan, Vice Principal Mr. G. Dayakar Reddy, Professor & HoD-IT Dr. C. Murugamani ,Co-Coordinator of the FDP Mr. G Sudhakar Raju . They enlightened the participants with their insightful knowledge on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.

Valedictory Ceremony

The valedictory session of the Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled " Innovative Approaches to Cyber Security and Digital Forensics: Tools, Techniques and Best Practices ", organized by the Department of Information Technology, Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women, Hyderabad, in collaboration with AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, was held on 21.12.2024.
The session commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. G. Sudhakar Raju, Co-coordinator of the FDP. He greeted the dignitaries, participants, and resource persons, thanking them for the active participation and contribution throughout the six-day programme. He emphasized the importance of the FDP in bridging the knowledge gap between the academics and industry in the area of Cyber Security.
Dr. M Sandhya Rani, Coordinator of the FDP, provided a detailed report of the programme. She highlighted the key topics and sessions covered during the six days, such as Cyber Security fundamentals, Forensic Investigation Life Cycle, Emerging trends in the applications of Digital Forensics, and their practical implications. She acknowledged the dedication of the resource persons and the enthusiasm of the participants, which made the event a grand success.
Dr. C Murugamani, HoD of Information Technology, emphasized the transformative potential of Cyber Security and Forensics in the real world scenarios and encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained during the FDP in their research and professional endeavors.
Mr G Dayakar Reddy, Vice Principal of BRECW addressed the gathering and congratulated the organizing team of IT Department for their efforts in hosting a well- structured and insightful FDP.
Dr Ch Sujatha Gangadhar, Chief Operating Officer, SLV, appreciated the organizing committee members for their hardwork and congratulated the participants who enthusiastically attended the FDP.
Several participants shared their feedback during the session, expressing their gratitude to the organizers and resource persons. They highlighted the comprehensive nature of the FDP, which included theoretical discussions, practical insights, and interactive sessions. Participants appreciated the platform for fostering collaborative learning and expressed their enthusiasm to explore further advancements in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms G Jyothi, organizing committee member, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, Principal, Vice Principal of BRECW for their continuous support, AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy for their collaboration, and the resource persons for sharing their expertise. She also extended her thanks to the participants for their active involvement, making the program a grand success.
