The area of the simulation lab is 100sqm.The lab contains MATLAB R2016b and PSPICE
Softwares. This lab has 45 systems including server with the following configurations. |

This lab is used to simulate the circuits related to Control Systems and Simulation Lab,
Power Electronics and Simulations Lab and Electrical Circuits and Simulations Lab. This lab
is also used for Mini/Major projects and workshops and conferences. All the computers in
simulation lab are connected using LAN. |

ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS LAB |
This lab occupies an area of 200sqm. This lab is well equipped with kits like Schering’s Bridge,
Anderson’s bridge, DC Crompton Potentiometer, CT test and relay kits etc. Apart from these
kits, this lab has measuring meters – Ammeters, Voltmeters, Wattmeters, Power factor meters
and 1-φ, 3-φ resistive, inductive, capacitive loads which are helpful for conduction of some of
the experiments.
Recently, new equipment – Transformer turns ratio bridge, Strain gauge, Potential Transformer
and Current Transformer test kits are purchased for conduction of some more new experiments
in the lab.

NETWORK THEORY LAB |
This lab is well equipped with kits of Thevinin’s, Nortons theorem, KVL & KCL kits etc.We perform here experiments with AC Supply. We make students work on bread boards and conduct the experiments as mentioned by JNTUH. We use PSPICE software licensed version for few experiments.

POWER ELECTRONICS LAB |
This lab is well equipped with few kits Dual converter, parallel inverter, series inverter, 1-phase bridge converters, SCR triggering circuits etc. PSPICE licensed version is used for few experiments. |
ELECTRICAL MACHINES LAB |
This lab is well equipped with DC motors with brake arrangements, Dc motor - generator sets, Induction motors with brake drum arrangements (both single and three phase ), Synchronous generators and Transformers( isolation transformers, variacs and Boosters. This lab has measuring instruments Ammeters, Voltmeters, Watt meters, tachometers and Power factor meters which are helpful for conduction of the experiments. |
